THE FINE PRINT…

Mandatory Skills – 2 to 4 years experience in:

Experience in bookkeeping and finance
Competent Xero user with at least 1 year of experience
Hands-on experience with Xero and Excel spreadsheets (You will be required to demonstrate your bookkeeping and spreadsheet skills)
Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative style
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential across all stakeholders

Excel skills required…

Intermediate to advance excel/pivot tables

Xero experience required…

Setting up the system including entering opening balances for customers and suppliers
Ability to amend the nominal ledger and create chart accounts reports
Dealing with customer and supplier ledgers including invoices and credit notes
Reconciling bank accounts on a day-to-day basis
Handling payroll including posting the salary journal
A Xero competency test will be conducted

A high level of proficiency in:

Management of sales and purchase ledgers
Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions
Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
Reconciliation of bank transactions daily
Preparation of accounts and reports for managers to review
Training expert on accounts and Xero
Undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required
Excellent attention to detail
