The Role

With ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting time to join SYSTRA Ltd as we continue to develop and raise our profile in the India with the recruitment of a Senior Bridge Engineer. The role could be based on our Faridabad/Ahmedabad/Kolkata/Bangalore/Chennai Offices. The Bridges team at SYSTRA has an exciting pipeline of work and will be continuing its growth throughout 2022.

Main Duties

Carry out Hydraulic study for bridges & culverts where required.
To prepare inventory and carrying out condition survey for Bridges, Flyover, Grade separated structures, ROB/RUB, Culverts etc.
To prepare detail proposal for widening and strengthening of the structures.
To co-ordinate activities between field and office.
To prepare a design standard, technical specification and finalize list of drawing with the use
of Auto CAD department.
Join kick off meeting for assigned projects.
Preparation of Improvement Proposals, Designs & drawing production.
To carryout Detail Design for Bridge Components /Canopy /Toll Plaza Buildings using Indian & International Standard code in Practice.
To carryout BOQ & Cost estimate for different type of structures
To carry out Client meeting/ Design Coordination as per requirement of Domestic / International Assignment.

Experience

Graduate in Structural Engineering
Postgraduate in Structural Engineer
05 to 10 years of design experience through STAAD Pro, Midas Civil, Auto Cad.
Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desired to excel; and the ability to lead others.
Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
