Job Description : What You will do: · Design and develop, innovative learning solutions applying adult learning principles and systematic instructional design to create content that fits the needs of the learner.· Design and author new content, including lessons, quizzes, projects, courses, and outcome-oriented learning paths.· Review, provide feedback to, and mentor teachers who have created and/or teach the content.· Research educational techniques and philosophies, and apply them to curricula.· Research the learner experience, identify weaknesses in the curriculum, and make improvements to existing content.*You’ll also be involved in the following areas: *· Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and marketers to design, create, market, and improve Masai’s curricula.· Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to gain insight into the learner experience and make data-based improvements to curricula.· Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to create and improve the content authoring process and tools, and make improvements to our learning environment.What you will need: · Bachelor’s degree or practical experience required.· 5+ years of experience in Curriculum design, development, and deployment.· Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java, C++, C#, PHP, Swift, or Go.· Interest and ability to learn programming languages, libraries, and frameworks quickly.· Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to incorporate them into the curriculum.· Professional experience using e-learning software (Articulate, Captivate, or similar), Canvas LMS (or similar).· Strong verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write, design, develop and manage technical IT (information technology) content projects.What will make you stand out: · Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Education· Professional or volunteer experience as a teacher or instructor· Experience with developer tools such as Git, GitHub, and the command line· Project, product, or people management experience involving small to large teams· Experience with creating educational content that reaches a wide audience in a digital format (such as youtube videos, blogs, or e-books) or in print· Experienced using design and video editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Camtasia, or similar)Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: From ₹1,200,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Remote workingExperience:Curriculum development: 5 years (Preferred)Work Remotely:Yes
