Responsibilities
As a Senior Digital Marketing Executive (SEM) at SHIELD, you will be accountable for managing all paid search campaigns on various search and display marketing engines like Google, LinkedIn and Bing. In this role, you will effectively manage the paid search budget and work closely with various stakeholders in order to maximise conversion, drive good traffic to our website and assist in the acquisition of B2B clients.
Scale and optimize SEM as part of a multi-channel, cross-segmented digital marketing engine against performance targets
Actively manage the planning and execution of paid search campaigns, including creation, tracking, analysis, optimization, bidding, budget pacing and forecasting and development of insights
Holistic SEM management including keyword building, ad copy writing, search media plans and optimizing programs towards key business goals and reporting
Assist with analyzing & reporting performance data to proactively aid ongoing strategy
Research and analyze competitor advertising strategies
Execute tests, collect, and analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI and performance targets
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to optimize campaign strategies related to targeted topics and improve conversion rates through paid customer acquisition at all stages of the marketing funnel
Respond quickly to changes in online marketing and adapt to capitalize on new opportunities
Manage budget and optimize spend through continuous exploration and testing on new ad formats and platform features
Requirements
3-5 years of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience across affiliate, display and paid socials, preferably on the agency side
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field required
Experience with testing and optimization throughout the customer journey (e.g. ad creative, ad placement, conversion forms, post-conversion relationship, A/B and multivariate testing)
Experience in forecasting and managing to forecast, and creating management-level presentations
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing execution platform, agencies, content management providers and digital analytic tools; including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and LinkedIn Ads
Ability to skillfully and confidently grow the digital marketing function to support company revenue and growth targets
Strong knowledge of bid management tools
Experience with successfully managing third-party digital agencies to align to SHIELD’s strategy and goals and meet / exceed targets
An analytical and structured thinking with strong written, presentation, and communication skills
