At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is an in office position. You’ll eventually be expected to work full-time in our Delhi office. Due to COVID-19, you’ll work remotely from day one until it’s safe for you to return to the office. Our leadership monitors local conditions and will communicate return to work plans as we approach reopening for the New Delhi office.

What you’ll get to do…
Recruit the best talent and build a strong team of data engineers
Influence peer teams and leadership to ensure our data culture is one where engineers proudly do their best work every single day
Set the standard for technical excellence as we move our data ecosystem into the cloud
Collaborate and partner with peer teams located in US and EMEA regions
Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards and expected quality
Play a key role in integrating new data sources from Mergers & Acquisitions into our data & analytical ecosystem
Interface across our Business Analysis and Data Science teams understanding their common data problems and delivering scalable solutions
Partner with security, privacy, and legal teams to deliver solutions that comply to GoDaddy security and privacy policies
Partner with product engineering and peer data engineering teams to instrument and understand
Your experience should include…
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related technical field is required
10+ years in data architecture and business intelligence
5+ years managing engineering teams
3+ years developing Big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, hive, spark, etc.
In-depth knowledge of optimising distributed computing systems
Expert in data modelling, metadata management, and data quality
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills with ability to balance contending priorities
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
An ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment where continuous innovation is occurring
You might also have…
Delivered end-to-end analytic solutions using AWS services (S3, Athena, Kinesis, Redshift, EMR, Glue)
Proficient in programming in Python, Scala, and Java.
