About Amazon Centralized Timekeeping (CTK)
CTK manages time and attendance (T&A) transactional activities for global Amazonians. Together with key partners, we work to advance self-service opportunities, streamline and standardize time processes, and launch new solutions that provide a seamless timekeeping experience for our customers The vision of the Centralized Timekeeping team is to utilize top talent to streamline time and attendance data entry, reduce payroll defects and provide consistently high service levels.
As a lead of CTK-Automation team, you will be at the forefront of transformational technology streamlining & automating the Operations and business processes. You will define the vision, strategy and roadmap for this team comprising of BIEs, Product Manager and RPA specialists. This team is focused on automating operations and business processes and augmenting products. CTK Automation team partners with Operations, technology teams & Product teams to design, build, improve & optimize processes.

Key job responsibilities

Lead, mentor and coach a team comprising of BIEs, Product managers and Automation specialists.
Conduct Market research and competitive analysis to identify best in class automation technology/tools
Set the right success metrics for the team, develop a framework for appropriate automation tools for customer problems/use cases.
Be a core member of the TAA Leadership Team and lead the discussions / updates with senior leadership and drive key decisions.
Work closely with technical leaders, product managers and operations leaders to compose and influence the long-term team vision, roadmap, org goals, planning, and backlog prioritization.
Lead high-visibility, cross-team initiatives including scoping, requirement gathering, technical design, implementation, and launch phases. This includes evaluating and recommending automation solutions to meet customer requirements, ensuring long-term scalability, and meeting project timelines
Help teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g. requirements not sufficiently understood/documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, inadequate system design, insufficient testing/gaps in QA, etc.)
Demonstrate strong program management, organizational, and leadership skills to facilitate effective, collaborative project meetings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree
Proven track record of effectively working with and growing geo-distributed partner teams
Superior ability to interact and collaborate with high quality, highly technical, multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent technical, problem-solving and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver in scope and on time.
