Job Description : Job Title: Lead Discipline Engineer- ProcessJob Type: 6 months Extendable contractExperience: 10 – 15 YrsQualification: Bachelor Degree in Chemical EngineeringJob Responsibilities / Skills: Preparation of PFD’s, P&IDs, mass and heat balancesPerform process-engineering calculation such as line sizing, pressure drop, control valve sizing, relief valve sizing and equipment sizing.Specification and selection of process instrumentation etc.Perform hydraulic analysis and simulation studies using SIMSCI & HYSIM type software packages.Review and develop control philosophies and safety and emergency shutdown system designs.Participate in HAZOP studies and assist in the development of the HAZOP report.Perform calculations and develop data sheets for pumps, compressors, separators and other vessels etc.Familiarity with internationals codes and standards such as ANSI, API, NFPA etc. is required.Evaluate bid proposals, materials take-offs and pricing tabulation. Preparation of proposals, budget estimates and materials specifications.Perform Engineering deliverables in an efficient manner & Complete tasks in less than budgeted man-hours.Ensure that timesheets are completed correctly reflects hours consumed for tasks accomplished.Supervise Process Engineering work for projects, studies and proposalsResponsible for quality and technical integrity of the plant process design.Responsible for, or participate in, licensor negotiations, evaluation and process selection.Assists with establishment of process guarantees.Perform other chemical engineering design functions as requested.In-depth knowledge in engineering standards, specifications, codes of practices and proceduresThorough familiarity in international design codes and standards (i.e API, ASME, TEMA, PED) applicable to piping designTeam leadershipConflict resolutionSpecific software applicationSpecialized discipline softwareProject ManagementEffective computer skills (Microsoft Office software, Auto-Cad)Good command of English languagePersonal commitment to Safety philosophy that all accidents are preventable.Job Type: Full-timeContract length: 6 monthsSalary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Fully Vaccinated is preffered.Experience:Process engineering: 10 years (Required)
