Position Overview
We are looking for Senior Quality Assurance Analysts to join our Retail Software product R&D team in Mumbai, India to build class leading software products for our global retail customers helping them to bring instore experience to the next level using Diebold Nixdorf compelling and innovative Point of Sale (POS) software solutions.
This is a disruptive new software product for the retail space (grocery, specialty retailer, and department stores) based on a cloud-native micro services architecture. We are creating an API oriented platform that will form the foundation of a new retail ecosystem for our customers with a new approach to the Point of Sale, store solutions, and core backend integration running from the cloud.
This position is responsible for improving testing frameworks, design/implement tests, execute tests, and ensure good communication with the development team.
You are responsible for
Review, analyze and understand product requirements.
Test case design and execution: Write test scenarios and optimized test cases with maximum defect detection potential.
Automation of end to end testing and/or systems integration/automation test scripts
Execute the test cases and report the defects. Debug failed automated tests.
Support the maintenance of the regression testing suite.
Understand and follow best practices, defined processes and tools.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of the deliverables for the assigned work.
Utilize multiple tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Swagger on a regular basis for test automation.
Development of core frameworks and libraries on a need basis.
Prepare and manage test environment setup for assigned scope with minimal guidance.
Perform load and stress tests.
Peer review of automation code, test plans, test cases.
Support hiring by conducting interviews.
Qualifications
B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of experience in QA and QA automation preferably in Product organization
Experience with full software development life cycle, continuous integration, unit testing, and version control.
Experienced in in Web application testing: APIs, .NET Core/Java Backend using JMeter/Selenium/Postman/Ranorex etc.
Understanding of testing approaches and methodologies
DBMS: MS SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL etc.
C# and SQL programming skills are highly desirable
Experience with supporting system testing/integration/deployment activities
Experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans for owned system modules.
Knowledge of JIRA / XRay for test case & execution management
Knowledge of Postman, Swagger
Understanding of Scrum/Agile development practices
Management of test environment
Excellent communicational skills – written and oral
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with retail systems and retail domain knowledge
Experience with testing ReactJS / Angular frontend in highly desirable
Understanding of containerization (Docker)
Experience in load and stress testing
Experience with MS Azure
Virtualization technologies: VMware, VirtualBox
