Introduction:

Under moderate supervision the successful candidate will be required to work across the full cycle of functional testing including creating key artefacts. The candidate will define and document test cases based on requirements, upgrade existing test cases to system changes, define and execute regression test cases. They will also have the ability to recognise defects and issues and report proactively.
What will you be doing?
Knowledge/exposure on Salesforce/CRM applications/Client Technologies
Exposure to Jira as Defect Management application and understand how to raise defects.
Possess DB concepts in creating simple SQL queries and possibly have some exposure on ETL testing.
Create test scripts (manual and automation) & test data based on test scope defined
Identify appropriate test cases for automation and write test automation scrips in existing frameworks – Provar/Karate/ Cucumber Frameworks.
Work with multiple teams – test environment team, development team, business analysts, project managers, upstream and downstream component teams, UAT team and E2E testing teams
Raise Integrated Environment dependencies and highlight risks to the Salesforce Delivery Managers/Projects.
Understand the Systems Architecture, Test Environments landscape and share your understanding within the team.
Escalate any issues to Test Manager/Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues.
Responsible for alignment with Test Manager, Portfolio Test Manager, Technical Delivery Managers, Release Managers, Project managers
Engage regularly with stakeholders (Test Leads, Test Managers, Portfolio Test Manager, Product team, PMs, Design, Build, Implementation) within/outside your Component Team to ensure the testing planning, demand, progress, risk and issues are appropriately percolated
Carry out Impact Asessment of test requirements – user stories, CRs, regression on existing Salesforce functions.

What we’re looking for:
Must have strong knowledge on Salesforce/CRM applications/Client Technologies
Should be well equipped with Jira Defect Management application
Must possess strong DB concepts in creating complex SQL queries and should have thoroughly worked on ETL testing.
Create test scripts (manual and automation) & test data based on test scope defined
Identify appropriate test cases for automation and implement test automation in existing Provar/Karate/Cucumber Frameworks.
In Agile deliveries, participate in daily meetings (e.g. Scrum) and take ownership of test activities

Skills that will help you in the role:
Certification(s) in Salesforce – Salesforce Admin or others.
Some Hands-on experience in one or more technical areas of the technology platforms consisting of (but not limited to): NCINO, Mainframe, APIs, XML, JSON, SOAPUI, UNIX, ETL, Oracle.
Exposure in Gherkin, JUnit , Selenium 3.0, API’s , Selenium locators, Cucumber, Provar, Karate
Awareness/Understanding of GIT, STASH, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven
Exposure to Test Automation Framework development
Experience in JIRA and similar test management tools.
Experience in Confluence or similar tool.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with some supervision on all aspects of the testing lifecycle.
Must take the initiative to update his/her skill set and share knowledge gained through participation in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
Must be keen to learn new functionality, Applications and Technology.
