And this is just the beginning – we’re growing fast!Headquartered in Boston and Berlin, with over 100 employees from more than 33 different nationalities, we seek highly-motivated and passionate individuals to join us on our mission of improving surgical care.TasksWork with peers and product management to understand business and software requirements.Take ownership of JIRA stories implementation, and design, develop, and test software code and components according to requirements.Provide feedback on requirements and work effort estimates.Create and document necessary software design and system solutions.Model database schemas and interfaces.Conduct proactive code reviews.Help develop automatic unit, system and integration tests and CI/CD pipelines.RequirementsWilling to relocate to BerlinBachelor’s degree in a technical area of study (e.g., Computer Science), or equivalent experience.Self-starter enjoys working with agile/scrum, diverse, collaborative, supportive, and fast-paced environment.Minimum 3 years’ JavaScript development experience with React.js, or other similar JavaScript frameworks.Experience with OAuth 2.0 or similar secure web authentication frameworks.Experience with REST API’s and microservices.Experience with secure public clouds such as AWS or Azure.Experience with Node.js, Git, SQL, NoSQL or equivalent.Big plus: experience in video and/or image processing and/or video streaming, Docker containers, Electron desktop apps, Jenkins CI/CD.Digital healthcare experience a big plus, especially familiarity of healthcare standards such as DICOM medical image files and FHIR/HL7 Electronic Health Record interoperability.BenefitsProfessional and intellectual knowledge exchange with highly-talented and ambitious colleagues from all over the worldWarm-hearted, flexible, and solution-oriented culture with open feedback cultureWellness Bonus!
