Summary of the role

Are you the Software Developer we’re looking for? Have you worked on websites before? Then you’re the person we’re looking for! You’ll be designing, coding, reviewing web solution. You’ll be joining one of the world’s top 10 software travel company to power better journeys.
Your main responsibilities
You will be developing, monitoring and reviewing Amadeus solutions for airport. You’ll:
Work as a developer to create and improve our Airport Management Solutions
Work on spikes to provide technical inputs for implementing new features.
Review code and suggest best practices to the team.
You will be working on improving delivery efficiency and the quality of the product. You’ll:
Work with the team to design solutions.
Help in improving code coverage (unit tests).
Produce software documentation necessary for the application.
Establish DevOps Engineering team best practices for release engineering.
Perform troubleshooting on critical issues.
Attend and give feedback in sprint demos.
Work on POCs to improve engineering practices.
You will be mentoring team members. You’ll:
Build team skills by mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members.
You will work with POs to understand requirements and to provide solutions You’ll:
Work with PMs and POs to define solutions and clarify requirements.
Size user stories and features.
You will work with open-source technologies. You should:
Stay current with industry trends
Help in fostering an innovation culture.
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 6 Years of Professional programming experience in web development.
Good working experience in JAVA, JEE, Junit
Good working knowledge on Spring Framework and Hibernate
Good experience Oracle, JBOSS, SQL, Maven
Good experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML
Experience with JavaScript / Typescript / CSS / HTML and Angular Framework
Experience with GIT
Experience with Jira / Scrum / Agile methodology.
Excellent communication (oral and written) analytical & problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide technical guidance to the team.
Good to have knowledge on Jenkins / Confluence
Good to have knowledge on Selenium / Protractor – Karma / Jasmine
Good to have knowledge on in travel domain and especially in airline and airport domain
