Job Description : MLJ Systems creates bespoke software solutions for the Manufacturing and Hospitality sectors. We work closely with our customers to help them obtain the best results from our products and services and we work continuously to improve them.An opportunity has become available for a talented systems engineer working on systems that control the manufacturing across a large industrial site.You will be working closely with domain experts and users to deliver new solutions, designing applications and migrating legacy systems. This is a diverse roll and the candidate must be comfortable working independently, have excellent time management skills and be confident taking the lead.Responsibilities will includeDelivery, testing and deployment of software solutionsSupport of existing software solutions.Development of new web and desktop based applicationsRefactoring and rewriting legacy systems to new platformsSkills RequiredStrong commercial experience of C#.Desktop and Web .NET Application experienceA proven history of designing applications.Knowledge of middleware / SOAMS-SQL Database skills and solid knowledge of SQL queriesHands-on experience writing unit testsSkills DesiredCommand line experienceFrontend javascript / libraries.Experience of C or C++ programming.Experience of real-time or manufacturing environments (SCADA, PLC, etc)Dependency InjectionOO design and knowledge of SOA architectureASPNET Razor, WPFJob Type: Full-timeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible scheduleOn-site parkingWork from homeSchedule:Day shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Flexible remote working in operationEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)
