Amadeus is building a new solution, Traveler ID, that will make travel journeys frictionless across all travel touchpoints.
This is achieved by leveraging traveler identify and biometrics, orchestrating end2end traveler security access throughout critical touchpoints such as airport border control, airline boarding, hotel check-in, car rental pick-up… This project has been selected as one of the top growth strategic opportunities that is incubated in “start-up” mode and benefits from ExCom visibility.
Our mission is to give back to travelers millions of hours otherwise lost to queuing in airports, at hotels, or car rental desks by building a global interoperability platform, between a range of digital identities (private or public ones), and travel checkpoints (Airport biometric gates, hotels, car rental pick up location)
During 2021, we’ve designed, built, and deployed a new software within 15+ airlines, and supported 2 million Travelers on the planet.
As a software developer, your responsibilities will be :
work in agile in an agile scrum team to deliver user stories in a startup-like environment
responsible for analysing user needs and design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions
Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
Skills
Work experience: 7+ years of backend development
HTML/CSS, Angular
Python backend development
Java Backend development
REST JSON
Oracle SQL, NoSQL Couchbase or MongoDB (DynamoDB or CosmoDB is a plus)
Excellent communication (oral and written)
Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
