We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

A group company within NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
Performance Tuning and Design/Develop Preventive health checks/tools ensuring high availability integration environment. Involved with resolution of complex software development issues that may arise in a production environment.Understands customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions.Providing the technical solution for Complex production issues.Interacting with the Application users & Business users coordinating on application requirements and providing software solution.Participate in the Weekly status call with the client to discuss the action items on outstanding Incidents, Service requests and changes for the week.Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.Documents software systems according to NTT Data’s system standards, policies and proceduresResponsible for Creating/Configuring monitoring tools and automate proactive monitoring tasks.Participate in the investigation of system requirements and assists in preparation of systems specifications including revising manuals, design of forms and computer output, and documenting user procedures.Designs, specifies, implements, and maintains systems.Moving the changes to the live environment by coordinating with other teams and end users in order to complete the Go-Lives on timely basis.
Requirements
Strong technical background in C or Java
Practical experience in Linux/Unix platform
Experience in Shell or Perl programming (Objective Perl)
Good to have AWS SysOps, Splunk, Jira, Nagios, DataDog
Willingness to work in shifts
Good communication skills
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams over issues
Basic Qualifications:
Four year college degree
