Job Description : Custom programming and web application development for Drupal
Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing company sites
Contributing ideas and efforts towards internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions on various problems
Functions as the engineer, designing solutions, delivering solutions.
Handle day to day activities that come with supporting production products like monitoring key performance indicators, troubleshooting problems and being proactive to ensure stable systems within their scope. Reactive and proactive attention is given to the area.
When given a business goal to achieve. Drive for a solution architecture with the Enterprise Architecture team that delivers value quickly and has a corresponding complexity to match the desired business value.
Lead the development of solutions ensuring we are taking full advantage of RTI International’s competitive advantages and using lean principles to guide the development. Focusing on delivering business value through iterations and converging on the final solution from knowledge created during the solution development.
Develop and manage tools to monitor and analyze the health of the production environment.
Implement detection and alerting of anomalous behaviors
Work with internal customers including product team developers, architects, product owners, database administrators and site reliability engineers to understand their platform needs and build software tools to enable developer productivity
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience)
2+ Years of Drupal hands on development experience
Proficient in Drupal 8, including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API
Combinations of “Education-and-Experience” that will make an optimum candidate, including Minimum as well as Nice-to-Have / Added Advantage items:
Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.
Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Familiarity with source control systems such as Github, etc.
Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, qa)
Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies
