Bluefin Resources is looking for a motivated and talented Software Engineer to work within the NSW State Government on a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
The team’s mission is to empower residents in NSW by arming them with relevant & updated information while enabling them to transact and manage their interactions with the government ON THE GO. You’ll be part of truly agile, cross-functional product development team that consists of Engineers, Designers, Content Designers and Product Managers.
Up to $1200/per day plus superLocation: Combination of WFH/Sydney, NSWGreat team culture
What you will bring to this role:
Well versed with React Native. You have 5+ years of solid software development and are a skilled mobile app developer.
You have 3+ years of building native mobile apps with 1-2 years of those building React Native mobile apps for Android and iOS, deploying to Appstore and Google Play.
You will also have:
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Typescript and CSS.
Thorough working knowledge of React concepts like Virtual DOM, JSX, and component lifecycle management etc.
Proficiency with Android and iOS app development. Maybe you’ve mostly built native iOS or Android apps using Swift, Objective C, Java or Kotlin and you are just starting to become an amazing React Native developer. That’s okay with us, as you know what makes mobile apps special, and love building app-y apps with rich interactions.
Innovation. You are a creative thinker and love the thrill of building something from scratch. You would enjoy defining the product, its technology and the value to customers
Outstanding communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. You encourage diversity of thought and thrive in a team environment. You have good facilitation skills that guide discussions into outcomes.
Customer-oriented mindset. You are motivated by, and take ownership of, delivering valuable outcomes to the people who use your software.
