At Nine Publishing, we’re pushing the boundary of how the country consumes news, across our digital web and mobile app properties such as the 9Now, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age & Australian Financial Review.

This role will see you working on web analytics pipelines and work flows in python on Google Cloud. Building and extending microservices in GoLang. Working on custom built React libraries that power our behavioural data collection and ad serving capabilities on flagship Australian news sites. Finally you will be diving deep in Big Query to help the Product Design teams to discover new insights on how to improve our news products performance.

What you’ll be doing:
Work directly with our product owners to craft data driven solutions.
Mastering platforms such as Google Analytics, Ad Manager, Tag Manager and Google Cloud Design and deliver efficient data capture applications for web analytics end to end.
Creating auto-scaling, data-oriented microservices & APIs servicing our huge web and app audiences
Working in small autonomous Agile squads
Building the next generation news experience for a massive Australian audience
