Position :
Job Description : Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field with preferred focus on Information Systems with 8+ years of total experience.
Minimum 5-6+ years Development and implementations experience with Big Data solutions especially
leveraging hadoop distribution
(Hadoop and Spark Architecture, Performance tuning, Spark SQL, HIVE, SQOOP,,
Entitlements etc., )
Proficiency in Java/python, Spark & SQL is a must
Experience in spart SQL & RDD tuning is a must
Experience in big data cloud implementation (AWS) is a must and must have good hands on.
AWS exposer on EMR, EC2, Lambda, Authena, step function is needed
have extensive hands on EMR and Lambda
Experience in implementing complex ETL transformations in Hadoop platform is a plus
Experience with Python/java is a plus
Experience performing data analytics on Hadoop-based platforms is a plus
Experience in implementing distributed and scalable algorithms (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish
common goals
Experience performing data analytics on Hadoop-based platforms
Ability to manage and coach a Big Data Agile team through design, development, testing, implementation,
and support
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software
improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the
organization and across multiple locations.
Financial Services and Commercial banking experience is a plus.
Demonstrated independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex
analytical/data-driven problems.
Must be able to communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise fashion to multiple levels of
management.
