This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

About the team
The role is within the FX Services Technology team which rolls up to the Macro eTrading group. The team provides technology development and support for systems which trades fx , payments and merchant transactions.
The global team consists of people based in London, New York, Bournemouth, Houston, Singapore and India.
Key Responsibilities
Dev ops fx-service technology.
Maintains architecture level setup, this requires UNIX Shell scripting and Java programing.
Knowledge of Networking / Security settings/ Linux settings.
Maintains development environment in Jules/Jenkins for all of fx-service tech stack i.e. payments technology, merchant technology, custody technology.
Setup and design apps for cloud infrastructure for application development (please note this is not Admin role).
Database Oracle, application level setup.
Application owner
Maintain the firm wide security standard for code. Black duck scan, static scan and code the fixes to resolve the issues.
Maintain and define software resiliency parameter
Maintain application level records in liaisons with JPMC risk management team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of webserver of tomcat/apache
Expertise in build automation tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins etc.
Hands on experience of Java. (Knowledge of Java 8 is added advantage)
Shell scripting, Knowledge of Linux environment and commands.
Python, added advantage
Expertise in Version control tool like GIT.
Using IDE’s like Intellij, eclipse, Spring tool suite etc
Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, Restful with micro services architecture
Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills.
3+ years of experience with the agile software development framework, with a substantial experience in high pressure, time critical environments
