Job Description : The QTrade Rates application stack integrates with our internal pricing libraries produced by JPMorgan’s Quantitative Research group and the bank’s internal market data systems to allow the Global Non-linear Rates Sales and Trading desks to quickly and simply structure trades; compute, view, summarise and report the risk for these trades; share in-process trades between the different groups involved in trade execution; and provide a single point of trade capture into the downstream prime record systems.Working in partnership with trading and quant desks to understand their requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
Close partnership with the software development team globally
Develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of our object oriented analytic interface
Understand the project lifecycle and take ownership of project deliverables to ensure successful implementation and integration of application code/changes
Close working with the groups supporting the applications on which QTrade depends to ensure the full end-to-end solution
Migrating web services from virtual servers to containers / private and public cloud
The global QTrade Rates team have a strong and successful history of managing and nurturing software engineers to work and mature in a very high profile, complex and demanding role which touches the full SDLC stack from designing and building modern platforms to support the firm’s high revenue generating businesses.
Skills :
Full stack software engineer – core Java (Spring, Swing, SWT), Python, UNIX, Linux, Windows, SQL, Jenkins, Eclipse / IntelliJ IDE.
Structured derivatives products, pricing, risk across any of Rates, FX or Equities trading
Ability to communicate with Sales and Trading desks
