The HR HCM Reporting is a newly established centralized global team responsible for all aspects of data strategy, governance, reporting and analytics for workforce data. We have a vision to help make individuals, teams, and businesses at JPMC among the most engaged and productive in the world. Our mission is to create workforce insights that allow leaders to make evidence-based people decisions that help drive measurable business outcomes. The HR reporting and analytics technology function is an essential part of JPMC’s business and is critical to JPMC’s operations and processes necessary to provide HR data services supporting the firm’s globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage data integration and data analysis of disparate systemsBuild extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the clientImplement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sourcesProvide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designsInterface with other internal product development teams as well as cross functional teams (Product Management, Integration Engineering, Quality Engineering, System Admin Teams)Working with remote and geographically distributed teams to enable building the right products, using the right building blocks, and making them consumable by other products easily
Qualifications
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in data integration projects, preferably related to human resources analyticsStrong technical understanding in building scalable, high performance distributed services/systemsStrong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lake conceptsHaving hands on experience with a minimum of 5 years on Spark and Scala
– Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala- Strong experience in integrating data from different types of file-storage formats like Parquet, ORC, Avro, Sequence files etc.
Strong experience with Java open-source and API standardsPossesses strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skillsHaving excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to different audiencesExperience in technologies like Oracle/SQL and NoSQL data stores such as MongodbAbility to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environmentExperience in AWS Data Warehousing and database platforms preferred
