Primary Responsibilities:
Apply object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs
Analyze, Design, implement and maintain the applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Focus on automation using Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC), Jenkins, terraform etc.
Mentor junior developers on the team with programming standards
Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms, and frameworks to support the business needs
Ability to independently troubleshoot problems in development as well as production and zero in on the likely root causes
Develop unit and integration tests for all written software programs and components. Follow test driven development approach
Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
Perform DevOps role and support, enhance the application developed
Be able to coordinate with onshore stakeholders
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Overall 8+ years of experience in Software Development life cycle
8+ years of experience in Core Java, J2EE and Spring boot
2+ years of experience with Kafka streaming
Experience working with Continuous Integration & Deployment tools (Jenkins)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Good understanding on Bigdata, Spark and Scala programming language
Development Methodology/Engineering Practices – Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
