Job Description : About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Enterprise Hybrid Cloud PaaS team.

In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Contribute in development of API layers for automation of provisioning and deployment of Tanzu Application Services, Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Windows Azure Pack, GCP and Windows Azure infrastructure components
You will need demonstrated e xpertise in development of REST APIs, knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL would be an advantage
Demonstrated experience in development of containerized applications running on Kubernetes. Exposure to app modernization and refactoring to micro-services would be an advantage.
Possess deep knowledge of Java, Maven, Github, JUnit, Selenium, Github
Possess expert knowledge of SQL, SpringBoot, Micro-services, Cloud Native Development
Required Qualifications, International:
Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:
4 year Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree plus 6 years’ experience or equivalent
8 years’ experience in Java, Maven, Github, JUnit, Selenium, Github.
4+ years’ experience with SQL, SpringBoot, Microservices, javascript, Cloud Native Development
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Foundry, Istio
5 years of overall experience with Linux environments
Have handled at least 2-3 large scale Kubernetes based application development and deployment
3+ years experience with in-depth troubleshooting Linux Operating systems
3+ years experience with Prometheus/Grafana, ELK stack
Desired Qualifications:
Exposure to Javascript frameworks like React, Angular, node.js
Knowledge of Go language
Experience with Siteminder (Channel Secure)
Prior exposure to Wells Fargo ECM standards
Experience with dynaTrace or AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring tools
Experience with capacity planning, sizing, and performance tuning
