About the role

We are looking for Sr. Advisor – BI Business Process Management. The objective of this role is to support internal cross functional teams in building a holistic BPM function across varying maturity levels in business process modeling and documentation. BPM solutions can be used to manage, evaluate, observe, design, plan, monitor, and control the whole business process. You will be responsible for executing engagements in the areas of BPM tool implementation, environmental management, set up access, user, library, repository, database, metamodel, localization management etc.
This position will be part of BI team and will be based out of Gurgaon office, and require a high degree of interaction with all functional teams within different countries (Montreal, USA, Australia, India, Poland and Singapore).
Reporting line: Manager BI Improvement
Scope: Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:
Play a key role in establishing structured Business Process Management (BPM) practices in Rio Tinto
Be the gatekeeper for all work conducted in Rio Tinto’s chosen BPM tool(s) to highlight gaps
Work closely with the larger stake owners to leverage the power of the tool
Help drive minimum BPM standards adoption within and outside the tool
Act as a system admin to control onboarding and offboarding of users
Setting up masters such as org structures / systems master / roles for more consistent content. Including frequent refresh from Source System.
Establish and maintain relationships with the various teams such as technology / vendor
Establish the guardrails to enable effective navigation with the tool
Create, facilitate, and deliver training programs for new users
Be the first point of support / SME for all BPM tool related issues
Facilitate “As Is process” & “Future state” workshops / roadshows to demonstrate power of BPM
Default configuration / central authorization of enhancements / customization
Carry out administrator activities like user / license management, database management, BPM tool configuration, publication and analysis, maintenance, and issue resolution
User Access Privileges Mgmt. – Who should have access to what? create, edit and delete users and assign relevant roles and licenses
Support in customizing the models, business process hierarchies according to the relevant requirements
Create reports for various business scenarios.
Develop strong working relationships with client (process owner/functional heads)
Assist in various other BPM initiatives and projects, as they arise.
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Preferably 6-10 years of experience in BPM domain preferably with Global Business services / Shared services Industry.
Extensive hands on knowledge (administrator/Power User/SME) of Adonis BPM (from BOC) or any other leading BPM tool
Extensive process mapping / management / process hierarchy experience.
Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual.
Business improvement mindset and skills.
Positive attitude, strategic thinking, demonstrates excellent behavioral skills (Leadership, champion change, team worker, influencer etc.).
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work with senior management.
Ability to work in Global environment highly desirable.
