The successful candidate will be able to decide which ideas should be pursued and which should get dropped in order to meet quality and accuracy standards.ResponsibilitiesExcellent command on the language, including good spelling and grammarKnowledge of the structure and content of the languageA meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detailThe ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlinesA tactful approach when dealing with authorsThe ability to retain the author’s voiceA love of and feel for the language.RequirementsProven working experience as an Editor or operation in the publishing industryStrong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolioHands-on experience with MS Office or other publishing toolsExcellent written skills in English/Gujarati/HindiAn eye for detail along with critical thinkingPrioritizing and multitaskingBS degree in Journalism or in a related field will be preferredOther benefitsFlexi working hoursGet to talk to the creme intellects of the worldExposure to high profile knowledge industryESOP for strong candidates after 1 year of joiningN.B.
