Job Description : Starting Salary £23790 (inclusive of 1 sleep-in a week). Join our team as a Full Time Support Worker at our Supported Living Scheme. You will join a team of 18 other carers who together provide 24-hour support to 7 young adults with learning difficulties across 3 separate services across Sittingbourne and Sheerness, Kent.Our Supported Living team helps young adults with all of their daily activities so that they can lead independent and rewarding lives. Help them to cook, clean, plan their day, or visit local amenities and attractions. You’ll be helping people and do all the things we often take for granted. Sometimes our young adults just need someone to talk to for emotional support too. Help them understand their relationships, plan for the future, assist with personal budgeting and enter the world of work. The job of Support Worker at Supported Living is so varied that its hard to describe in a few sentences, but our team agrees that their Support Worker role is one the most rewarding jobs available.Qualification and Experience requiredWe are looking for someone with a genuine interest in caring for others. Past experience is not necessary. We can train you and we offer career choices as you develop. However, it would be of some benefit if you have either professional or personal experience of delivering care.
