We develop and manage a number of social housing developments, providing general support to our tenants with the aim of improving their standard of life and assisting them on re-entering society.Job descriptionYour role as a support provider within the GW property team will be to help us work with each allocated occupant with the aim of assisting them in returning to society, as well as developing the general daily skills required to support themselves independently. Our occupants require low level support, with your help to set tailored goals you will be able to make a very real and positive difference to their lives. You will have the responsibility of visiting each occupant for at least an hour per week at their shared accommodation, whilst doing this complete essential weekly updates regarding their progress.Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, budget setting and paperwork. Supporting them to pursue hobbies and interests. Identifying local job centres and educational workshops will be in their interest, as well as CV support. A high level of patience and understanding is required for this role. We offer support when and where needed, we are a close team and you will receive everything your requireA range of qualifications are excepted, for example L2NVQ health and social care.
