Job Description : Are you looking for work that is truly fulfilling? Do you want a job where your influence will continue long after your shift ends? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live the way they want?
You’ll join our friendly team of Support Workers at a small, homely residential service in Evesham, where we support 6 adults aged from 29-64.
They like to be out and about as much as possible.
**David enjoys playing ball, going to hydrotherapy, catching the bus, visiting his Parents and sometimes people watching.
** Susan enjoys her music and really likes having a cup of tea in company, getting manicures and having a pamper, listening to stories and taking part in arts and crafts.
**Simon also really likes his music and multisensory activities and loves going swimming going swimming followed by a trip to Macdonalds.
** Paul goes to Hydro therapy loves to be involved in the preparation of meals and being in the company of others.
We also support two young gentlemen to live independently in their own home on an outreach basis, Peter has a real passion for motor vehicles from tractors to cars and Mark loves watching a film both at home and at the cinema. He attends lots of clubs and activities with his friends.
We regularly have days out to places of interest and often accompany the people we support on short breaks and holidays.
You’ll play a key part in making sure people can live as independently as possible, helping them be active members of their local community and joining in with their favourite pastimes and hobbies. You’ll find yourself getting involved in arts and crafts one day, and going out to the cinema or a concert the next. The most important thing for the people we support here is that their staff are cheerful, positive and don’t rush them.
This is a part-time role for either 20 or 30 hours per week. Shifts are worked on a rota basis to include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

About you
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
You must be a driver with your own transport which is insured for business use.
