We are looking for a Teacher to work in a special needs school in Durham to work Monday to Friday.

The role is due to start on 16/03/2022 and will initially run until the summer term. Working hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

The role more specifically will entail delivering a tailored curriculum to students with autism.

You will receive a daily rate of between £120 – £140 p/d depending on experience.

A successful candidate will have a teaching qualification and be keen to work as a teacher in non-mainstream schools.

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with a wide range of young people and adults in a busy learning environment
Have a knowledge and understanding of young people from varied backgrounds with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Want to make a positive contribution to Learners
Have a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
