Job Description : Are you a passionate and engaging Humanities Teacher? Can you inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Hastings Academy and we are looking to appoint a creative and dedicated Teacher of Humanities with a passion for their subject and a commitment to raising standards for all learners. You may be a History or Geography specialist looking for your next challenge – if so we want to hear from you.
The department prides itself on inspiring confidence in our students and colleagues and delivering high quality, engaging and effective learning.
We are looking for someone who:
Has the ability to engage and motivate students
Has a drive for excellence and a desire to be outstanding
Demonstrate analytical thinking
Improve the quality of students’ learning
Contribute to the Academy improvement/development plan
Promote the learning priorities of the Academy Development plan.
Contribute to the development and/or implementation of academy policies
Have a drive for excellence and a desire to be outstanding
Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
Is a specialist in Geography or History and committed to the progress of ALL students
Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students
Has enthusiasm, presence, authority and deliver consistently
