Leads Development and Design of OSS Fullfilment Systems & Interfaces for fulfilment of Colt Network Data Services Products – Layer 2/3 Services – Ethernet, IP Access, IP VPN, SDN/NFV etc.
Engages with Operations Engineering, ITA, & Product Teams for fulfilment & service activation e.g. for VOIP platform like SONUS/RIBBION etc., and leads implementation
Leads High/Low level systems designs till implementation, modification and integration of systems, throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver Enhancements/Projects in line with business requirements and business strategy and goals
Understand business requirements and engage with project team including Architects, Business Analysts, Service Delivery, Service Assurance – NOC, Product Managers, QA, and other cross functional teams
Ensure thorough Impact assessment of OSS and review BRSD/HLD during new engagements.
Key accountabilities
Ensure delivery within agreed budget & timescales.
Provide effort estimate and liaise with COTS Vendors
Respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers.
Contribute to System design, development till implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide thorough Transition to support teams post project go live.
Provide Level 3 support to bugs/defects reported by end users during application lifecycle .
Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial)
Reduce Reworks, Systems Defects and issues with ratio aligned as per functional objective
Identify significant percentage of Customer service & performance data and takes appropriate action to resolve issues
Increase in customer satisfaction, user experience and NPS etc. KPIs.

Role specific requirements
Skills & Experience
Mandatory
8 or more years’ experience leading Full-Stack application development in Telecom & OSS domain.
Hands On experience on Service Activation/Fulfilment Systems Development on any NMS & Activation system.
Knowledge of OSS domains like service fulfilment, assurance, inventory management processes and related COTS.
Detailed Knowledge in Layer2/Layer3 Devices Services integration, mainly on Cisco, Juniper MX, Accidiean devices integration
Thorough understanding of IMS, VOIP networks and SIP integrations.
Should have strong programing background mainly language hands – Java, SQL, JavaScript, Shell Script, Python etc.
Hands-on expertise on Full stack Technologies / Frameworks –
UI – ReactJS, AngularJS, JQuery
Web Services – SOAP & REST,
Frameworks – Spring Boot Microservices, Apache Camel, Spring Integrations/Batch/MVC, Hibernate etc.
BMP/Middleware – Apache Kafka, Cammunda,.
RDBMS – Oracle
Build – Maven, Ant, Jenkins etc.
Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication Skill.
Desirable
Reviews and ensures that detailed designs comply with the architectural approach and high level design.
Estimation Frameworks – FPA
Knowledge on OSS / TMF standards, TCP protocols, SSH, NETCONF, Telecom Services like VOIP, IP Access, VPN will be added advantage.
Understanding of ITIL Processes.
Ability to explain and bridge the gap between business oriented drivers for OSS transformation and technically oriented solution users.
Qualifications
B.Tech, B.E, M. Sc., BCA, MCA or PG degree in IT
