Job Description : Technical Operations Bio-Rad Technician
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Technical Operations Bio-Rad Technician to join our Healthcare Diagnostics business based in Llanberis. As a Bio-Rad Technician you will work within the Technical Operations team performing immunoassays, interpreting results and performing basic statistical analysis on generated data. This purpose of the role is to carry out value assignment of control material, supplied by Bio-Rad, in order to provide targets and ranges for customers. Collation and reporting of results will be required as well as liaison with contacts at Bio-Rad Laboratories.
Your mission and responsibilities:Perform immunoassays within Technical Operations.Follow procedures outlined in relevant Standard Operating Procedures.Document in a timely manner all experimental work carried out using recognized procedures.Interpret and perform basic statistical analysis on data generated.Summarise and present results of experiments to a satisfactory standard.Perform any specific Technical Operations GLP responsibilities to a satisfactory standard.Ensure all documentation is completed to the required quality standards and in a timely manner.
To work with colleagues as part of a team to deliver the testing that Bio-Rad require to the right quality at the right time.To operate and maintain complex equipment and quality testing processes in line with all associated quality, health and safety requirements.To comply with all Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.To comply with relevant Quality and Environmental Standards and European Directives as documented within Company Quality Management Systems.
Your qualifications, skills and experience:BSc or equivalent in a relevant science-based degree.Experience of immunoassays is desirable and familiarity with the use of computers is essential.The Technical Operations department works to GLP and GMP and to strict deadlines requiring the candidate to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
