The team you’ll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
What you will learn and contribute to
Develop and execute sophisticated software tests to verify conformance of feature(s) functionality implemented by Engineering against requirements specifications laid out by Product Marketing.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure completion of Nuage VSP Features and interact extensively with software, hardware and firmware teams.
Automate test cases using in-house Python based infrastructure and maintain them. Enhance the automation infrastructure if the tests require that
Enhance Test strategies, Automation & Build infrastructure with feedback and analysis from real-world Customer deployments
Participate in system design so that Quality Assurance is considered throughout the entire lifecycle of the Nuage VSP Feature Set
Working closely with the Development team, Documentation team to ensure the product is ease-to-deploy, ease-to-use and debuggable.
Actively participate in requirements, functional and design aspects of new features & enhancements

Your skills and experience
8-15 Years of Experience in Quality Analysis/Test large scale complex products.
Experience in IP networking testing and troubleshooting
Excellent problem solving and communication skills,
Strong attention to detail, and ability to work well in a close-knit team
Background in Layer 2 or Layer 3 VPN technologies (VxLAN, MPLS, VPLS, IP-VPN, mVPN, OpenFlow, OVS-DB, BGP, BGP-EVPN)
Experience with Virtualized Switching Products such as OpenVswitch or Nexus 1000v
Experience working on OVS-DPDK, OVS Hardware offloads or SmartNICs based products
Server Virtualization expertise with KVM, Containers/Docker, Vmware ESXi is a huge plus.
Exposure to Cloud Management tools as OpenStack, CloudStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, HyperV would be a plus.
Scripting/Programming Skills in Python, TCL, Shell
Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required· The candidate must be able to successfully work in close-knit teams
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
Experience in working on SDN, SD-WAN products would be useful.
Experience in API Testing and REST, HTTP would be useful.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering or higher.
