Technical Web Analytics Consultant

Up to £60,000 + Benefits

Central London – Flexible

A Great opportunity for experienced Digital/Web Analysts to join an industry leader and specialist Digital Analytics Consultancy in the UK.

The primary goal for this position maximizes the clients’ satisfaction and ensure they are being directed to adopt the best-practice technical setup to meet their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Auditing client’s sites for tags, and producing a gap analysis

Creating a solution design reference (SDR) for analytics implementation, both for website and mobile app

Implementing/fixing analytics tags via a tag management system

Developing data layer specifications

Creating technical implementation guides for development teams

QA’ing analytics tags on site to identify any bugs
Configurating analytics setup (ie. property/view creation, filter management)

This role will not require you to analyse the data – that is the job of our Insight team – but you would be interested in the commercial impact of your data, either from analysis or from marketing automation.
It is a client-facing role, and your work will be directly billable to clients. You will take ownership of several clients and lead client meeting and conference calls so you will need to articulate yourself clearly and logically.
Requirements:

Several years experience of implementing and configuring web analytics technologies

Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Experience implementing and managing tags in GTM, Adobe Launch, or Tealium iQ

Experience designing tracking solutions for Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics

Stakeholder management experience

Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Ability to translate business requirements into technical tracking solutions

A desire to learn
