Working as a System Test Architect at Signify is dynamic. You will be working on industry leading IoT lighting systems for office, industry and healthcare applications.

We are looking for a System Test Architect who will be responsible for defining and deploying essential system test strategies and methods for our connected lighting systems.
You will be part of the Architects team within the Office & Industry segment of the Systems & Services Organization in Bangalore.
You will support multi-site software development teams to deliver state of the art connected lighting systems to the end customer, so customer focus, agility and quality must be in your DNA.
What you’ll do
Work with project leaders, RTE, system architects and lead engineers to develop a risk-based system integration and testing strategy across the Agile Release Train
Develop actionable integration and verification plans to release features, systems, products and processes according to specified requirements and the risk inventory
Create adequate test requirements and specifications to prepare and set up the test base in line with the project plan and risk inventory
Work with Test Automation Engineers to define the regression test infrastructure for small- and large-scale testing, including hardware and software tooling
Analyze current processes and practices and define improvements of test strategy, test frameworks, infrastructure, tools and test coverage
Advise on system quality and remaining risk at time of release to management and other stakeholders
Your qualifications
Education in Computer Science or Engineering (Master preferred) + ISTQB Advanced certification with minimum 15 years of relevant ex
In-depth knowledge and a proven track record in implementing and applying concepts in the fields of requirement engineering, risk management, test architecture and test automation
Experience in a (test) architect role for complex IoT systems comprised of devices and cloud software in an agile environment. Experience in software engineering is a plus
You combine analytical and architectural thinking, affinity with testing a multitude of connected devices, flexibility and a hands-on mentality to deliver sustainable results and creative solutions
Affinity with network technology like Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and testing of connected products
Excellent consultancy, reporting and documentation skills and the ability to connect with project and business stakeholders, as well as software developers and test teams
You’re able to keep the overview and focus on key activities under pressure
