Job Description : Responsibilities:
Work as full time upstream developers in Kubernetes development community.
Triage, fix bugs and implement features in upstream.
Build and maintain strong trust and working relationships with community developers.
Convert designs and blueprints into running code and provide automated tests to demonstrate correctness.
Work in Kubernetes community development tooling’s like git etc.
Prepare roadmap and technical docs.
SPOC for client & higher management
Lead the NECI Kubernetes upstream developer team
Provide technical help and mentorship to the Kubernetes team.
Responsible for team deliverables in upstream.
Strong understanding of Architecture of Kubernetes.
Experience peer reviewing colleagues and open source code.
Represent NEC in global OSS (Kubernetes or CloudNative) conference across world through delivering presentation, participate in technical discussion.

Required Mandatory Skills:
At least 7 years of experience in software programming.
Expert Level experience of software development in Linux OS.
Hands-on experience with deploying and integrating software, as well as designing the features and convert them into code.
Leadership experience to lead the development team.
Expert level understanding of Kubernetes architecture.
Expert level understanding of software design, container technology.
Language: Go lang

Good to have:
Good experience working within an open source community
Kubernetes certification.
