Your Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated hands-on engineer who brings ideas about large-scale design, security, Cloud, UI design and mobile technologies; As a software engineer, you’ll apply your deep expertise in designing, developing and delivering an Integrated Pipeline required to deliver our world class UEM solution. You need to be versatile, display leadership qualities and open minded to take on new problems that our customers face.

IBM MaaS360 is a market leader in the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) domain. This 100% SaaS product is delivered from 10 globally distributed data centers that service 16K+ tenants and support 5M+ devices.

Essential Job Functions
Analyzes and designs software modules, features or components required for an optimum CICD solution
Develops, tests, documents and maintains complex software programs for assigned systems, applications and/or products. Gathers and evaluates software project requirements and apprises appropriate individual(s).
Codes, tests and debugs new software or enhances existing software. Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to complex software problems.
Provides senior level support and mentoring by evaluating product enhancements for feasibility studies and providing completion time estimates. Assists management with the planning, scheduling, and assigning of projects to software development personnel.
Ensures product quality by participating in design reviews, code reviews, and other mechanisms.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience – 7-10 Years
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery
Ability to design and implement automated pipelines that are testable, re-usable and easy to maintain
Background in automation using Jenkins (configuration, job management, writing shared libraries, hooks etc.)
Source code management (preferably GIT)
Ability to author and maintain tasks in Gradle, NPM and Docker.
Knowledge of logging frameworks or ELK(Elastic, logstash, Kibana)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience with deploying application in at least one major public cloud provider (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc) or large scale private/hybrid cloud using container orchestration such as OpenShift.
Good problem solving skills and proficiency in Java or Groovy
Strong scripting skills in at least one language (BASH, Python, Ruby, Go)
Ability to manage multiple projects, while ensuring that commitments and timelines are met

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Using and configuring Artifactory.
Familiarity with a configuration management framework (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
Experience in maintaining and running containerized third party apps like Apache, Solr, Kafka, Active MQ
Experience with monitoring frameworks (Nagios, Prometheus, etc)
