Job Description : Al-TAX is looking to add a Junior/Mid-level Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA Accountant with at least 12-24 months UK experience within a practice.The qualified candidate/ Chartered Accountant, will be a dynamic and team player, ideally with Knowledge of Property & Construction industries.The candidate will be working on, in-house book-keeping, VAT returns, and Payroll/Pensions bank reconciliations and preparation of management accounts, maintenance of aged creditors and debtors’ reports and will be solely responsible for the in-house billing process as well working for external clients.The Role includes:Company Start-upsThe completion of year-end accounts, CT600, and Corporation Tax computations#Weekly/ Monthly Payroll & PensionCompletion of Self-Assessment Tax ReturnsManagement of your client’s VAT returnsMeet client’s statutory deadlines, such as VAT returns, Statutory Company Accounts and Self-Assessment Tax ReturnsLiaising with HMRC on behalf of clientsAdvise clients in relation to IR35 and the associated implications of this legislationResearch and consulting activities related to the implementation of automation tools to help manage client portfolio.Taking on and managing new clientsBuilding relationships with clients and gain referrals from them to help grow the businessSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExcellent verbal and written communication skills with accuracy and attention to detailsMinimum of 12-24 months’ experience within a UK accountancy practicePreviously been responsible for managing a portfolio of clientsACCA/ACA fully qualified accountantKnowledge of investment properties, buy to lets, flat management companies, a plusMust be highly competent in the use of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of various accounting software ( Moneysoft, QuickBooks, etcJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Freelance, Temp to permContract length: 12 monthsSalary: £22,124.00-£35,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeCommission payLoyalty bonusPerformance bonusSigning bonusYearly bonusBenefits:Flexible scheduleOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:ACCA/ACA QUALIFICATION (preferred)ACCA/ACA MEMBERSHIP(Certified Chartered Accountant) (preferred)Application deadline: 10/03/2022Reference ID: altax-2022
