We are looking for a Senior Value Engineer to join our growing GTM team in North America/Europe/APAC. If you have great analytical skills and are maniacal about value selling, we want to talk to you. Our Value Engineering team is expanding and actively seeking a Value Engineer to join our team. As a Value Engineer, you will collaborate with our sales account teams to create and develop business cases derived from a value-based methodology. Reporting to our Global VP of Solution Engineering, you will assist in standardizing our value-based solution proposition and integrate this into our selling strategy.
As a Senior Value Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
Conduct value discovery sessions with Freshworks prospects & customers. Capture customer objectives and ensure outcomes are documented to demonstrate quantifiable business value.
Effectively articulate the gap of where the client’s current state is vs their desired state.
Create analytical models and custom executive presentations for key accounts.
Provide thought leadership and expertise on business value
Collaborate with sales enablement to establish and provide enablement training on how GTM can leverage VE content and collateral
Collect and measure key Freshworks and industry metrics to establish trends and benchmarking
Work closely with other value engineers, account executives, and solution engineers to contribute to overall value assessment and findings.
Assist in the production and delivery of executive-level presentations in the field.

Qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in Value Engineering, Pre-sales Value Consulting, Solution Engineering and/or management consulting.
Deep financial analysis and modeling of ROI and TCO concepts to justify business cases. Ability to demonstrate practical use of ROI metrics.
Excellent soft skills and presentation skills are a must for this role. You will rely on these skills every single day!
A mix of business and technical acumen with the ability to engage and add value in discussions involving both technology and business strategy
Ability to influence executives and C-Suite with credibility, passion and charisma.
High energy, self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and is comfortable owning and executing initiatives
Highly effective collaborator who can work across sales, onboarding, sales enablement, and marketing functions.
Familiarity with technology and/or enterprise software preferred. Familiarity with CRM, ITSM and Customer Service solutions is a plus.
