Opportunity

We are looking for a videographer and editor. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all video filming and editing requirements for Hiver’s marketing team. Besides filming and editing, you’ll be in charge of all aspects of a shoot, including the set up and placement of cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props at the location. Your work will also involve other aspects of video post-production including, sound recording, design and mixing, color correction, and encoding and delivery, etc.

You’ll get to work on a diverse range of video marketing projects, including product walkthroughs, demos, new feature launches, SEO-centric videos, and employer branding videos. Additionally, you’ll work on repackaging existing content assets into high-quality, engaging videos.

You’ll be working closely with the video content marketer and designer to design concepts and storyboards.

This role requires a highly creative professional who possesses a strong work ethic, has excellent multi-tasking abilities, and a demonstrated ability to work under strict deadlines, all while ensuring that the highest quality production values and standards are met. Responsibilities

Lead video shooting, photography, equipment setup, and art direction for all of Hiver’s marketing videos

Assemble the raw footage and photos, and creatively edit and package them into high-quality, engaging video stories

Work on all aspects of video post-production, including color grading, sound design, mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc.

Work closely with our video content marketer and designer to assist them with creating storyboards for video scripts

Create video content for product walkthroughs, demos, new feature launches, SEO-centric videos, and employer branding videos

Repackage existing content assets into compelling video stories

Work with external consultants like videographers, photographers, narrators, voice artists, animators, etc. as and when required

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines (video production, fine arts, mass communication) with technical training in video and post-production

2 to 4 years of experience in videography and proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro X

Experience working with other Creative Suite applications including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.

Prior experience working on video projects – right from conception to completion

Experience working on editorial techniques such as transitions, cuts, timing, and the appropriate use of sound and visuals to communicate a cohesive story

Expertise in color correction and color grading

Basic experience in sound design and audio mixing

Ability to present complex concepts as easily digestible, engaging videos for a general audience

Other preferred qualifications

Ability to design motion graphics and proficiency in compositing techniques like animation is a bonus
