Co-founded in 2019 by Ladi Delano, a serial entrepreneur who has built businesses in Asia and Africa, and Jide Odunsi, a former senior Goldman Sachs banker and McKinsey alumnus, Moove has raised over $68m to date from some of the world’s leading fintech VCs including Speedinvest and Left Lane Capital, and global lenders including the IFC. We are also Uber’s exclusive fleet supply and financing partner in key emerging markets.
About the role
As head of our Fintech tribe, you’ll lead the conceptualisation, design and build of our Fintech products and platform. We’re just getting started with our Fintech solutions, so this role will allow you to hire your dream team of both people managers and ICs to deliver them. You’ll lead the tribe to create customer-facing products that are engaging, simple and intuitive, as well as platforms and internal products based on cutting-edge technologies. As your products and teams grow, you will plan and design your org, tech stack and solutions to be scalable and fit for new purposes and visions.
You’ll likely be
A passionate and inspirational product innovator and a Fintech thought leader
A proven operator at C-suite or Director level in a fintech, payments, banking, PaaS or BaaS environment
An expert in senior stakeholder management between product, tech and the wider business, using first-class influencing and collaboration skills
A commercially minded technologist with a broad business perspective
Energised by challenging, fast-paced environments
Qualifications and experience
Extensive breadth and depth of experience managing and delivering fintech products in fast-paced startups/scaleups
Demonstrable success defining and implementing long term Product strategies in scaling tech/digital businesses
Experience with the development of mobile app platforms from concept to implementation
An outstanding track record of successfully leading and motivating world-class product and tech teams
Considerable experience in coaching teams to facilitate effective, profitable business growth and create value for shareholders
