Project Overview:
We are looking for a Warehouse Design Consultant for 4-6 months.
Business Context: In manufacturing sites across India, the roll out of automations and technologies across manufacturing and packing has increased many folds. At Sumerpur we are setting up a best in class Integrated Distribution Centre (Warehouse) of 30K Pallet positions. This Project would be to setup the Rack Clad Structure and Cranes for the warehouse.
Scope of Work:
Understand Rack Clad Drawings and execution Schedule Optimization of planning and erection schedule Co-ordination of site activities and expedition of erection Close Co-ordination with System Logistics on Commissioning of Cranes Co-ordination of WMS Software for Warehouse
Expected business Impact:
50% reduction in erection timelines of Racks and Rack Clad building
50% reduction in Crane’s commissioning timelines

Understanding Project Scope
Complete understanding of Project Scope of Racks and ASRS
1to 2 weeks
Finalization of Racks erection schedule
Interact with Vendor and develop schedule to reduce 50% erection timelines
2 weeks
Completion of Racks and Rack Clad building
Completion inline to agreed network by close co-ordination with Vendor and site team
10 – 12weeks
Completion of Cranes
Co-ordinate with Vendor and site team to complete erection as per agreed timelines
6 – 8 weeks
Key Skills Required
Engineering Background with advanced knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects
Strong knowledge on, Autocad (preferred), Additional knowledge in Robotics Palletizers would be an added value
