Mission/Purpose of Position

Senior Project Manager drives, leads and manages Nissan global P13C project within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customer, ensuring economic success for the company and profitability of the product over lifetime.
To establish good relationship and grow the trust with customer for smooth project processing and for future business growth

Core Responsibilities

Profit and Loss responsible
Lead and manage customer and overall project requirements.
Maintain and follow the quality process and ensure all quality gates are passed successfully.
Ensure the manufacturing team has a safe launch plan, and the project launches successfully on time.
Act as main global interface to Nissan for project driving and to support the local PMs in a sufficient way of project execution.
Perform good communication with WW project team members, management, and customer, respecting each cultural diversity.
Ensure Yokoten, Kaizen within the organization.
Support the Head of Project Management Nissan-Mitsubishi in business acquisition and special task as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic) or Business administration
Project management experience in automotive Industry
> 7 years of working experience in automotive Industry
Work experience with J-OEM is preferred.
Preferable knowledge / experience for vehicle information network and CAN communication related R&D
Experience of full electronics development cycles as a project manager, Technical team lead or Plant local team lead is preferred.
Language skills: Fluent in English and Japanese is a plus.
Strong PC knowledge (MS Office, Lotus Notes)
