About the role
The ACT Manager will work independently to achieve a high level of results within committee work and preparing key events.
The ACT State Chair and Committee will work closely with you to promote surgery, RACS and patient safety to various key stakeholders.
There will be regular interaction with stakeholders, whether in the government, the hospitals or other interested parties and advocacy groups as well as internally within the College.
This role will be offered on a 0.8 FTE, fixed term 12 month basis.
Skills and experience
Experience of supporting and delivering on behalf of a high-level committee
Experience in policy or advocacy particularly with regards to health
Written communication experience and a high level of interpersonal skills
Management of staff and resources
High-level administration skills including office and financial management
