Job Description : Job Purpose
Responsible for software builds and releases, which includes the support of builds, scripts, and installation procedures. This position requires understanding of both Software development and Operations (DevOps). Identify manual process and automate them using various DevOps automation tools.
Responsibilities
Respond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment
Work with senior members to learn ICE infrastructure
Administer and troubleshoot build and deployment issues
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours support
Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions
Provide support to, and coordinate with developers and operations staff
Takes initiative, detail oriented, and demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
Knowledge and Experience
Ability to work in a service-oriented team environment
Customer focused, and dedicated to the best possible user experience
Communicate effectively with both technical and operational resources
Top-tier analytics and problem solving
2+ years of experience with any of the following technologies:
Working knowledge on GIT/ Bitbucket
Good knowledge in Jenkins Administration, provisioning access, Job creation
Working knowledge of build tools Maven/Gradle
Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems
Basic knowledge of any one of scripting languages
like Bash, Ruby, Groovy, PowerShell scripting, Python
Working knowledge of Tracking tools JIRA, ServiceNow
