Job Description : We’re looking for an Android Engineer to join our 100%-remote team and lead a variety of projects across our
tech stack! You’ll have the rare opportunity to work directly with our technical founders and engineers in
impacting hundreds of thousands of Fitbod's customers.
Responsibilities
Help architect, write, review, and deploy the company’s Android application.
Understand and implement Android best practices.
Deliver performant, scalable, and reliable code, including reviewing crash reports, and leveraging analytics and data to uncover and fix potential issues.
Help improve engineering processes by participating in team retrospectives and proposing improvements.
Work closely with the product and design team to review product designs, clarify requirements, and provide
high level effort estimates.
Work cross-functionally with customer success team to help troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, and
with the QA team to review test cases, provide testable application builds, and fix reported bugs.
The person who fills this role may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely-related.
Knowledge of background processes, online and offline data persistence mechanisms, and memory
management for Android.
Knowledge of Kotlin, MVVM, Room, Android Architecture Components, Android SDK, and Unit Testing.
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including: data structures, algorithms, and systems.

Positions are remote-only, with the option to work from our SF office when it is safe to do so.
