Position Time: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid (Online and Jakarta Office)

Role and Responsibilities
As a Marketing and Communication Manager Ashoka SEA/Indonesia, your main tasks will be to:
Develop and implement an annual communication and Marketing strategy that supports our FWC leader building EACH movement in Southeast Asia with established KPIs and quarterly monitoring.
Utilize entrepreneurial ability in identifying and engaging potential partners and opportunities in creating a mindset shift in the society, together with different classes of jujitsu partners.
Supervise digital content production for our social media, our webpage and other communication channels.
Work closely and empower Southeast Asia comms teams to define and align on the EACH message.
Adapt Global content and communication materials to support staff to effectively communicate EACH vision/strategy.
Coordinate communication of all of Ashoka Indonesia´s key activities: our events, our strategic alliances, and our project calls.
Regularly review local fundraising decks to align EACH messages, quality and branding and make available through Confluence/Sharepoint.
Identify 3-4 strong storytellers within the organization to design narrative, prioritize public speaking, writing etc.
Produce audiovisual content featuring our community promoting EACH.
Work with the FWC leader to cultivate, maintain and strengthen our relationship with key media partnership to amplify Ashoka’s messaging.
Ensure prominent media coverage for Ashoka Indonesia at strategic points in our activity calendar, including organizing press conferences.
When necessary, write opinion pieces and participate in presentations, conferences etc. in representation of Ashoka.
Support and assist the other team members in developing key messages, designing communication products and articles when necessary.
Requirements:
Fluent English.
Able to work on own initiative, proactively and independently and under minimal supervision.
Required 5 years of prior experience in marketing, communications, content production, content strategy, or PR in the development or social sector.
Ability to summarize meetings, events, programs, knowledge into an attractive, succinct and accurate articles and social media assets.
Prior experience in managing a marketing or communications team of people and external agencies.
Outstanding writing, proofreading and editing skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to set clear guidelines and deadlines.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, non-stop environment.
Comfortable with wearing and switching between various marketing hats: writer, editor, individual contributor, production manager, and strategist.
Personal and professional interest in different areas of marketing, zest for learning and leveraging the latest trends, channels, and tools.
Strong interest in accelerating the movement building ecosystem across Southeast Asia.
