Job Description : As Assistant Director – Product Analyst you will be focusing on several modules of the Orbis and Catalyst platform.
Working alongside product managers, subject matter experts, Customer service and other operational teams, you will participate to the successful delivery of key initiatives that drive Data Solutions’ revenue growth.
The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the product life cycle, from feature conception to deployment and customer enablement.
Orbis is the world’s most powerful comparable data resource on private companies, with information on around 400 million companies across all countries.

Specific responsibilities for the position include:
Solicit and collect feedback from internal stakeholders and clients to help define the functional requirements for new releases.Act as a liaison between the engineering, program management and research teams to facilitate understanding of the design requirements.Supporting requirements activities by providing end-to-end analysis for product and initiatives with respect to data requirements, data flows, data modelling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs within and across Moody’s systemsEnsure that new features are implemented according to specification and problems are corrected.Assist in providing content and reviewing documentation for release or new features.Support training activities on the technical and analytical aspects of the product.Assist in providing client product support.Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s) at least with an emphasis in financial engineering, computer science, engineering, math, finance, or a related quantitative field preferredTypically requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in either Product Management or Software Engineering; creating and/or reviewing technical product requirement documents and implementing the same.Comfortable with supporting the needs of multiple teams, ‎systems, and products.Quick to learn and understand new technical concepts and technologies and share this knowledge with others.
Hands on experience working with Python (or other comparable language) and Oracle PL/SQL and scripting language strongly desired.Experience in at least one of the following areas is appreciated but not essential: Data Visualisation (i.e Tableau, PowerBi, QuickSight) Graph Analytics , open-source/commercial graph databases, Elastic search, Lucene, Solr, RPA, NLP, Semantic analysis.
