Job Description : Orka Financial is working with a global services business based near Heathrow to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant. The Assistant Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial accounting related to operations. This post is a development opportunity for a candidate looking to further develop their career in financial accounting – this role is at entry level, full training and study support will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Input of payroll journals.
Input of intercompany CAV’s.
Input of TLA entries in Sun accounts.
Agree all intercompany balances at month end.Input of financial data into HFM reporting system for month end.Completion of detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all UKI entities.
Assisting with completion of VAT returns.Assisting with external and internal audits.Working closely with the UK SSC, to complete the year end closing process and associated tasks relating to statutory accounts and taxation.Dealing with queries from GroupCompletion of ONS returns.Ad hoc tasks as requested.
Qualifications and Experience:
Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) as minimum.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work to deadlines.
Self-motivated, disciplined and organized with good verbal and written communication skills.
Part-qualified or working towards a recognised accounting qualification.
Salary:
£30,000 – £35,000 + benefits
