Job Description : We are seeking a part qualified accountant on an upward career trajectory for a role with our client based in York centre. You will be joining a growing professional services company in a number 2 finance role. Your position will see you providing financial information and insight into the businesses activities as well as managing transactional processes.
Our clients offices are based in York, however they operate a very flexible home working policy and provided you were able to attend the York office one day per fortnight beyond this you would have the freedom to work from home / office as you see fit.
Main duties of the role:
Processing invoices to group accounting system
Production of weekly billing report and liaising with delivery and consulting teams to ensure prompt invoicing to clients.
Production of monthly profit and loss
Balance sheet reconciliations
Variance analysis of revenue flows and costs to forecast and budget
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable positions
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Review of Asset Register
To support the Finance Manager with specific project work as required
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 + Study Support + 25 days holiday
